My mind can't settle down.
I'm having a hard time focusing on the upcoming week. So many commitments, so many possibilities, so much to do.
Thoughts are jumping around my head, bumping together, dancing wildly and generally wreaking havoc on a mind that needs a place to rest.
This is not unusual for me. It's not necessarily a bad thing.
Often, out of these jumbled thoughts come the words I've been waiting for, the vision I've been watching for, the inspiration I've been praying for.
And so,
I wait.
I watch.
I write.
Looking for order. Searching for balance. Finding the pattern.
Waiting.
Just waiting.

Waiting is hard for me. I am such an action oriented person that I need the reminder to just let whatever will come, come on its own terms. Thanks for this reminder today :)
